Outdoor Group Visit to Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge on January 24, 2013

On January 24, the Outdoor Group went to the National Wildlife Refuge at the site of the former Rocky Mountain Arsenal. The highlights of the day included seeing many bison and bald eagles. The refuge is an excellent place to visit as it has numerous walking trails, abundant wildlife, and it’s free.
